Outdoor Lighting

As much as daytime artificial light is completely unnecessary in outdoor spaces, the truth is that if we enjoy our terrace or our garden during the cool summer nights need to have some light bulbs that we allow.

In this sense, the lighting on the porch and the garden should be well designed taking into account the dimensions of space we have to illuminate the environment we want to create and the needs of each of the areas in particular.

Start by thinking about the different parts of outer space: Facades and walls, seating areas, walkways and to points of interest that you would like to point in space (a tree, for example).

In the rest areas or where you will realize activities (near the table, sofas, etc…). Need a direct light from the ceiling or preferably near by the walls, for only thus you get the lighting needed for your tasks are not disrupted.

However, the purpose of space and your tastes will also be important to decide, whether it will be better to choose light white or lights dim, that will create a more intimate and welcoming.

In the more open spaces like roads and trails of the garden, walkways or even focal points do not have to use direct light, since in these cases you can afford a more decorative lighting.

The lamps or light fixtures on the walls are the traditional resource for these spaces, but the lights with bulbs from the soil can also help to give a touch of elegance to the space.

You can also give a romantic touch to your patio or garden with lanterns, candles and even strips of light garlands.
